6月18日，奥迪官方发布了“关于奥迪电动化战略的回应性声明”。
奥迪在声明中表示，“我们坚信电动出行的未来，并正致力于达成全电动化产品阵容这一明确的长期目标。与此同时，我们也注意到全球市场的发展存在明显差异。例如，北美地区的“拐点”目前正明显后移，而在中国，新能源汽车市场（含混合动力车型、增程式车型及纯电动车型）的“拐点”已于去年达成。市场的这种波动性和多样性要求我们在未来几年内，以尽可能灵活且稳定的方式提供差异化的产品组合，涵盖纯电动车型（BEV）、插电式混合动力车型（PHEV）以及内燃机（ICE）车型。”
奥迪称，“我们将持续致力于积极的车型矩阵维护，在2026年之后继续让我们的内燃机车型对客户保持吸引力，直到它们各自的产品生命周期结束。在当前规划基础上，我们并不排除其他可能性，以确保产品组合始终具备市场所需的灵活性，同时我们也将始终牢牢把握全电动产品组合的长期目标。我们的目标是凭借覆盖所有驱动形式的广泛且灵活的产品组合，积极而务实地推动向纯电动出行的逐步转型。”
