Lynas Rare Earths (ASX:LYC) achieved first production of terbium oxide at its Malaysia facility, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
This marks the second heavy rare earth oxide produced there, following dysprosium oxide in May, the filing added.
The company's shares were up more than 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
