Worley Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Worley Rosenberg, has secured a Preferred Contractor Agreement for the development of an offshore substation for the Sørlige Nordsjø II wind farm in Norway. This contract, awarded by Ventyr, marks Worley Rosenberg's first engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) offshore substation project. The agreement, which includes an Early Works Agreement for design engineering, is crucial for Norway's first major offshore wind development. The project is expected to provide renewable power to approximately 500,000 Norwegian households annually. Design and engineering work will commence in June, with the EPCI phase anticipated to begin in December 2025. The project will be executed from Norway, with support from Worley's global network, and showcases the company's capabilities in delivering sustainable energy solutions.
