Prostarm Info Systems (NSE:PROSTARM, BOM:544410) has received a letter of intent from Bihar State Power Generation for a 30MW/120MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, according to a Monday filing on the Indian bourses.
The project will be executed on a Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) model for 12 years at various GSS locations of BSPTCL in Bihar, the company said in the filing.
The rental is fixed at 444,000 Indian rupees per MW per month, translating to 159.8 million annually. The full capacity is scheduled to be commissioned within 18 months from the effective date of the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement, the filing said.
