Surefire Resources (ASX:SRN) started a 5,500-meter reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its Yidby Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The 42-hole program is designed to test several high-priority targets at Yidby, the filing said.
The company said it will start diamond drilling at the project once the RC program is completed.
Shares of the company rose 33% in recent Thursday trade.
