纽约市主计长（Comptroller）兼市长候选人布拉德·兰德尔（Brad Lander）的妻子在声明中表示：兰德尔周二在陪同一名被告离开移民法庭时被移民与海关执法局（ICE）探员拘留。
“在联邦广场26号移民法庭外陪同被告离开时，布拉德被蒙面探员带走并遭ICE拘留，”兰德尔的妻子梅格·巴尼特（Meg Barnette）在社交平台X上发文称。
“事态仍在发展，我们的团队正密切关注情况，”巴尼特写道。
现场视频显示，兰德尔站在法庭外时遭到多名戴口罩警员围堵。根据巴尼特发布的视频，兰德尔在被戴上手铐前多次要求警员出示司法逮捕令。
巴尼特在事后记者会上表示，截至周二下午早些时候，兰德尔仍被拘留。
“我此刻非常清楚自己目睹布拉德被带走时的感受——我知道他会平安无事，但法庭里其他家庭却无法说出这样的话，”她说道。
