HighCom (ASX:HCL) has recommissioned its XTclave system, a manufacturing technology to produce ballistic products, at its Ohio facility, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said the system's output has now doubled, and it is finalizing training for US-based staff and integrating ancillary equipment, the filing said.
Customer orders for the new XTclave product line are expected to begin in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, with initial deliveries targeted for the end of that quarter, the filing added.
The company will also resume production of select XTclave product lines that were previously manufactured in Adelaide, South Australia, for commercial availability in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026.
Shares of the company rose 12% in recent trade and earlier hit a near 17-month high.
