Chinese artificial intelligence startup MiniMax released the MiniMax-M1 large language model, according to a post released Tuesday.
Minimax said its model is able to support a million tokens, eight times that of DeepSeek R1.
The AI startup utilized 512 H800 graphics processing units by Nvidia to train the M1 using large-scale reinforcement learning at a rental cost of $534,700, MiniMax said in its statement on WeChat.
