智通财经APP获悉，日本电报电话公司(NTT)宣布，已获得足够的收购要约，将对NTT数据集团(NTT Data Group Corp.)实施收购。这笔价值2.37万亿日元(约合163亿美元)的交易预计将强化其人工智能战略布局，并简化集团公司架构。
该公司周五在声明中表示，收购结算将于6月26日启动。目前NTT已持有NTT数据约58%的股份，上月该公司以每股4000日元的价格，对其尚未持有的股份发起要约收购，计划将后者私有化。
作为全球最大的数据中心运营商之一，NTT数据的收购将使人工智能成为NTT集团的核心业务，助力其各业务单元拓展全球市场。目前日本政府持有NTT约三分之一的股份，在东京正推动企业开发本土人工智能平台以抗衡OpenAI和中国DeepSeek等国际竞争对手的背景下，NTT正与KDDI和软银集团在蓬勃发展的AI领域展开竞争。
此举也呼应了日本企业集团面临的监管压力——监管机构正敦促企业精简架构。今年2月，东京证券交易所特别警示存在母子公司上市结构的企业，要求其更好保护中小股东权益，进一步推进其长期以来缩减此类架构的行动。
此后，NEC集团已完成对旗下NEC网络与系统集成公司的收购，而此前丰田汽车董事长丰田章男(Akio Toyoda)也计划收购丰田工业。这些动向引发市场猜测将有更多日本企业效仿。值得注意的是，NTT曾于2020年收购旗下现金牛业务——无线运营商NTT Docomo。
