Clooney's fully-furnished rental included hotel-style beds and luxury Frette sheets
George Clooney's critically acclaimed turn in the Broadway hit "Good Night, and Good Luck" has come to a close after a sold-out three-month run. Now, deep-pocketed fans of the Hollywood star's work have an opportunity to experience a slice of his life in New York City.
During his months-long Broadway residency, the 64-year-old actor resided in a stunning two-bedroom apartment inside the luxury Mandarin Oriental Residences on Fifth Avenue. Now, a near-identical dwelling in the high-end property is on the market for just under $6 million.
Sources tell Realtor.com that Clooney-who is married to legal expert Amal Clooney-had his pick of top amenities in his fully furnished rental, including hotel-style beds, luxury Frette sheets, and Aqua Di Parma products.
The building itself features top-of-the-line conveniences, from a luxury spa and rooftop pool to reservations at Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud's in-house eatery, Boulud Prive.
Other impressive offerings include facials and massages, which are available in-unit to ensure maximum privacy.

The rental price that Clooney forked out for his stay is unknown, but there is currently a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit at the Residences that is being offered for a staggering $ 40,000 a month, suggesting that the actor's lease cost more than a pretty penny.
"The primary suite is a serene retreat, featuring a king-size bed, built-in desk, and generous storage," the rental listing for that unit states.
"Its spa-inspired en-suite bathroom offers a dual vanity, oversized soaking tub, and indulgent steam shower, complemented by Frette linens and curated Acqua di Parma and La Bottega bath amenities.
"The secondary bedroom, designed for both comfort and style, features two full-sized beds and a custom headboard."
The description states that, while the units are available for "flexible" leases of more than 30 days, all guests are required to undergo a "mandatory third-party screening process."
Images of Clooney's unit reveal elegant and tasteful decor; a neutral, modern aesthetic; and luxurious amenities.

Clooney and his wife were previously reported to have purchased their own New York City residence-a luxury unit in a new high-rise condo building, according to the New York Post.
However, it is unclear if they still own the dwelling, or if Clooney opted to stay at the Mandarin Oriental to be close to the Winter Garden Theatre, where his play was being performed.
The Clooneys are understood to have snapped up an array of lavish dwellings across the globe, including a $13 million mansion in the U.K., where they reportedly spent their honeymoon, and a sprawling estate in France, which Vinepair claimed they bought for $8.3 million in 2021.

They also own a beautiful dwelling on Lake Como in Italy, where they regularly host their A-list pals. Italy no doubt holds a special place in the couple's hearts: It's where they tied the knot in 2014. However, they hosted their ceremony in Venice, rather than Lake Como.
"We met in Italy," Clooney told People not long after their nuptials. "We have a home there. We knew that was where we wanted to get married."
In 2017, the couple welcomed twins, Ella and Alexander, now 8, who Clooney recently revealed have become dedicated fans of pop star Taylor Swift.
"They want to seeTaylor Swift," he told E! News at the Tony Awards on June 8, before admitting that, while his children are hip to the younger stars of the moment, they are clueless about those of their dad's generation-even those who regularly visit their home.

"The funniest part is that they have no idea of references," he explained. "Robert DeNiro will be at the house, and they're like, 'Who's that?' They don't care."
