韩国SK集团将联同亚马逊旗下云端运算公司AWS，于蔚山投资约7兆韩元(折合约51亿美元)，建造全国最大人工智能数据中心。据韩国科学部透露，当中约40亿美元将由AWS提供，项目预计今年9月动工，并于2029年前全面投入运作，届时将具备100兆瓦运算能力。SK集团会长崔泰源在与韩国总统李在明及多位科技企业领袖会面时表示，未来将把该中心容量扩大至1吉瓦，并打造成全球AI数据枢纽，并强调人工智能对韩国未来经济发展至关重要。
