The New York Times Company has announced that Haiyun Jiang will join as a photographer correspondent based in Washington. Previously a photography fellow in 2022-23, Haiyun has been a freelance contributor known for capturing nuanced insights into Washington's political scene. She holds degrees from Xi'an International University, Boston University, and Ohio University.
