1221 GMT - Fresenius Medical Care plans to ramp up the rollout of its latest dialysis machine in the U.S. from next year, CEO Helen Giza says in an interview. The German dialysis specialist is both an equipment manufacturer and a services provider. The company is in talks with rival providers to supply them with its high-volume hemodiafiltration therapy machine, called 5008X, but will introduce it in its own clinics first, Giza says. It expects to install about 1,000 units this year, 15,000 more next year and about 20,000 a year from 2027 to fully replace its existing machines by 2030, she adds. Shares fall 4.4%.
