由于6月19日（周四）为美国六月节，美股休市一天，6月20日（周五）恢复正常交易。芝商所旗下贵金属、美国原油期货合约交易提前于北京时间20日02：30结束，股指期货合约交易提前于北京时间20日01：00结束。洲际交易所（ICE） 旗下布伦特原油期货合约交易提前于北京时间20日01：30结束。
“六月节”是为了纪念美国奴隶制的终结，这是美国10个官方股市假日之一。值得一提的是，这一节日相当“年轻”，2021年才被合法化，是美国自1983年的“马丁·路德·金日”以来新增的第一个全国法定节日。
1865年6月19日，在亚伯拉罕·林肯签署《解放奴隶宣言》两年半后，美国少将戈登·格兰杰（Gordon Granger）抵达德克萨斯州加尔维斯顿湾，发布了第三号将军令，通知德克萨斯州人民，所有被奴役的人从此自由了。这一天后来被称为六月节。它也被称为自由日或解放日，这是已知最早的纪念美国奴隶制结束的庆祝活动。
2021年6月17日，美国总统拜登签署法令，将每年的6月19日定为全国法定节假日，节日名称为“Juneteenth”，该名称取自June（六月）和Nineteenth（十九）的组合。国内一般称这一节日为“六月节”。
