Thyssenkrupp's Deputy Chairman to Vote Against CEO Miguel Lopez's Contract Extension, Reuters Says

--Thyssenkrupp's deputy chairman Juergen Kerner will vote against the contract extension of chief executive Miguel Lopez at a board meeting on Friday, Reuters reports.

--Kerner, who is also second chairman of German labour group IG Metall, will vote against the extension because he believes Lopez has not delivered a turnaround of Thyssenkrupp's steel division, Reuters reports.

--When approached for comment by Reuters, Thyssenkrupp referred to earlier comments from Lopez that a restructuring of the group's steel business was a top priority, the report says.
