Compass Minerals International Inc. has announced the completion of its offering of $650 million in senior notes due 2030, carrying an interest rate of 8.000%. The proceeds from this offering will be utilized to repay all outstanding amounts under its senior secured credit facility and to redeem approximately $350 million of its outstanding 6.750% senior notes due 2027. Additionally, the funds will cover transaction-related fees and expenses, provide extra cash on the balance sheet, and support general corporate purposes. An amendment to the company's credit agreement has also been closed, fixing aggregate revolving commitments at $325 million and allowing for the issuance of these new notes.
