Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) will showcase its latest cinema LED screen, Onyx (model: ICD), at CineEurope 2025 in Barcelona from June 16-19, the electronics products maker said in a Tuesday release.
The theater-exclusive screen, first launched in 2017, now features better 4K quality, up to 120Hz frame rate, DCI-P3 100% color accuracy, and 300 nits brightness, the release said.
The revamped Onyx supports various screen sizes and scaling options, making it suitable for both traditional films and alternative content such as concerts and sports, it said.
Shares of Samsung Electronics rose 1% in recent trade on Wednesday.
