Tutor Perini Corporation's Guam-based subsidiary, Black Construction Corporation, has announced the promotion of Leonard Kaae to President. With over 40 years of experience at Black Construction, Kaae has previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, overseeing operations and its workforce of approximately 2,000 employees. Under his leadership, Black Construction has become the largest general contractor in Guam and the island's second-largest employer after the U.S. federal government. The subsidiary is recognized as one of Tutor Perini's most successful and profitable units, maintaining a record backlog and a substantial pipeline of bidding opportunities. These are expected to grow as the U.S. government increases funding for strategic infrastructure investments in Guam and the Indo-Pacific region.
