This growth was largely driven by Argentina, which saw a 21.4% rise in passenger numbers. International passenger traffic also showed strength, increasing by 12.1% year-on-year, with Argentina contributing a 19.6% rise. Notably, JetSMART gained market share by serving 157% more passengers than in the same month last year, while Aerolíneas Argentinas carried 18% more passengers despite a slight market share decline. Flybondi's market share decreased by 11 percentage points. Cargo volume saw an overall increase of 6.6% compared to May 2024, with strong performance in Brazil (+21.1%), Armenia (+19.7%), and Uruguay (+14.8%). However, Italy experienced a decline of 5.9%. Aircraft movements rose by 10.1% year-on-year, contributing positively to the company's operational results. Overall, Argentina accounted for 66% of the total passenger traffic growth in May, demonstrating significant recovery in domestic travel.
