The "JD Hotel Plus Membership Program" aims to serve hotels' supply chain needs and reduce operating costs, the report said, citing an open letter issued to hotel operators.
JD.com's program aims to bring cheaper prices to consumers and bring benefits to merchants, the report said.
JD.com utilized the zero-commission scheme first when it launched its food delivery service, the report said.
