CALB's Shares Jump 6% After Date Set for Vote on Acquisition

CALB's (HKG:3931) shares rose over 6% in afternoon trade on Wednesday after it set the date for an extraordinary general meeting to vote on the acquisition of 87,620,380, or 11%, A shares in Jiangsu Olive Sensors High-Tech (SHE:300507), a late Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Under the purchase agreement signed in May, seller Li Hongqing also agreed to give up his voting rights for 155,725,311 A shares held in the target within 60 months.
