消息面上，新城发展发布公告，于2025年6月12日，公司与国泰君安证券(香港)有限公司、海通国际证券有限公司、Citigroup Global Markets Limited、中信里昂证券有限公司、招银国际融资有限公司、中信银行(国际)有限公司、淞港国际证券集团有限公司、DBS BankLtd.及龙石资本管理有限公司(作为初始买方)就发行及销售于2028年到期的本金总额3亿美元11.88%优先票据订立购买协议。
里昂认为，新城发展成功发行3亿美元优先票据，是2023年以来首宗内房私企发行的美元债，反映市场对其资产负债表的信心。随着集团逐步处理资产并偿还相关贷款，住宅物业开发业务的负担可能会减少。该行认为集团目前可被视作一个拥有稳健资产负债表的商场地主而非开发商，因其物业开发业亏损的规模正在缩小。美银指出，新城发展成功发行美元债再融资，可进一步降低集团的流动性风险，令投资者能专注于其基本面价值。
