美国科技富豪埃隆·马斯克周二再次表达了对美国财政前景的担忧，他警告说，随着联邦债务利息膨胀到不可持续的水平，可能会产生可怕的后果。

　　马斯克回应了热门X账户Wall Street Mav的一篇帖子，后者指出，美国政府债务已超过37万亿美元，而这些债务的利息支付现在占所有税收收入的25%。

　　马斯克评论称：“如果这种情况继续下去，美国就会走向事实上的破产，所有的税收收入都将用于支付国债的利息，没有任何东西可以用来做其他事情。”

　　美国知名经济学家彼得·希夫回应了马斯克的帖子，认为美国已经破产了，“我们的债权人明白这一点只是时间问题。”希夫接着警告说，在此之后，“利率将飙升至一定程度”，偿债成本将超过税收总收入。

　　“美联储将释放失控的通胀，以防止这种情况发生，” 希夫称。
