VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 17, 2025 - ZenaTech, Inc. has announced the launch of its new IQ Nano indoor drone, targeting US Department of Defense applications such as inventory management, facility security, and search and rescue. In line with recent US Executive Order policy directives intended to accelerate the adoption of secure US-made drones, the company is set to apply for Green UAS certification. This certification is seen as a precursor to the more stringent Blue UAS certification, which is necessary for official recognition as a secure and mission-ready drone supplier to US military customers. The Green UAS certification is a commercial-level approval managed by the AUVSI drone industry association, while Blue UAS is a military-grade certification overseen by the DoD, requiring additional security evaluations and restrictions on the country of origin of components.
