June 16 - (The Insurer) - WTW has appointed Farah Ismail as senior director, head of commercial lines within its insurance consulting and technology (ICT) business in North America, with the hire joining from Arch.

Ismail has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before WTW, she spent almost two years at Arch, while her career also includes time at Deloitte, Berkley Custom Insurance Managers and the Insurance Services Office.

Based in New York and reporting to Laura Doddington, WTW's head of personal and commercial lines consulting and technology, Ismail will focus on delivering stronger portfolio performance by leveraging new and emerging technologies, including the broking firm’s end-to-end analytics platform, Radar.

“Farah brings a unique understanding of the insurance space, and her broad experience leveraging analytics and technology to solve client problems will bring tremendous value to our commercial lines clients," Doddington said.
