Fan Communications' May Revenue Rises 2% on Strategic Business Surge; CPA Segment Slips

Fan Communications (TYO:2461) posted consolidated revenue of 601.4 million yen in May, up 1.7% from a year earlier, supported by strong growth in its Strategic Business segment despite a slowdown in its core CPA business, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Revenue in the Strategic Business segment jumped 64.9% year-on-year to 121.2 million yen, extending a robust growth streak.

In contrast, revenue from the CPA Solution Business fell 7.2% to 480.2 million yen, marking its first year-on-year decline in over a year.

Total transaction volume for May rose 1.2% on the year to 2.14 billion yen. The CPA business was flat at 1.99 billion yen, while the Strategic Business climbed 10.1% to 149.8 million yen.
