Southern Cross' Unit Secures Over AU$70 Million in New Contracts

Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (ASX:SXE) unit, Heyday, secured more than AU$70 million in new contracts across two major infrastructure projects, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Heyday was awarded the Western Sydney Airport Stand-Alone Facilities project by CPB Contractors, which is set to start immediately and is expected to be completed in early fiscal 2027.

In a separate contract, builder J Hutchinson awarded the unit two additional electrical work packages, also set to start immediately, with completion targeted for the first quarter of 2026.
