Dow Jones
Jun 21
1405 ET - Bombardier's latest order from Saab for two global 6500 is one step closer to reaching its long-term defense target. Bombardier believes its Defense annual revenue potential by 2030 is $1 billion to $1.5 billion, which is three times what it was in 2023. Based on the addressable market, TD Cowen's Tim James says in a report that these are reasonable targets. "We assume Bombardier delivers 10-12 Defense aircraft in 2030 and generates $1.2 billion of Defense revenue," he says, noting that "today's defense aircraft order announcement will help build equity market confidence" in these targets." Shares are up 2.4% at C$109.10.(adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
