BlockBeats News, June 24th, Privacy blockchain network Canton Network developer Digital Asset has completed a $135 million financing round. The round was led by DRW Venture Capital and Tradeweb Markets, with participation from BNP Paribas, Circle Ventures, Citadel Securities, Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Virtu Financial, Paxos, and others.
Digital Asset's Canton Network, which focuses on "configurable privacy," has attracted institutions such as Goldman Sachs and BNY Mellon to test real-world assets (RWA) on the platform. The types of real-world assets involved in the Canton Network include bonds, money market funds, alternative funds, commodities, repurchase agreements, mortgage loans, life insurance, and annuity products.
