BlackBerry Unit QNX Signs MoU With Vector to Launch Vehicle Software Platform

BlackBerry's (BB) QNX unit said Monday that it signed a memorandum of understanding with German software firm Vector Informatik to launch a foundational vehicle software platform.
The companies said the aim of the strategic partnership is to develop software-defined vehicles and simplify automotive software integration.
They also said that an early access version of the platform will be launched later in the year, while a certified release is planned for the end of 2026.
