Collins Foods' Result Looks Positive Despite Revenue Miss -- Market Talk
Dow Jones
Jun 24, 2025
0049 GMT - Collins Foods' annual result is seen positively by RBC Capital Markets analyst Michael Toner despite softer-than-expected top-line growth. While revenue fell 1.8% short of Toner's forecast, he tells clients in a note that the Australian fast-food franchiser's cost control helped Ebitda come in 4.8% ahead of his expectations. Underlying Ebitda margins beat company guidance, he adds. Looking ahead, new store openings are helping Australia track above Toner's FY 2026 forecast. RBC has a sector-perform rating and A$8.50 target price on the stock, which is up 16% at A$8.43. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
