TOMI Environmental Solutions (TOMZ) said Monday that a recently published study by the US Department of Agriculture demonstrated the efficacy of its SteraMist ionized hydrogen peroxide against Deformed Wing Virus or DWV, which causes honeybee colony collapse.

The company said the study showed that SteraMist can "significantly inactivate" DWV, particularly strains A and B.

TOMI Environmental Solutions Chief Executive Halden Shane said the company continues to advance its research and expand its outreach to beekeepers.
