Air New Zealand Shares Fall Amid Partnership to Boost Chinese Tourism

Shares of Air New Zealand (ASX: AIZ, NZE: AIR) fell nearly 2% in Monday morning trade in New Zealand, after the company partnered with Air China and Tourism New Zealand to invest over NZ$700,000 in a marketing campaign over the next year, to attract Chinese travelers, according to a Friday statement by the company.

The airline expects a 33% increase in premium seats on the Shanghai-Auckland route from October.
