Equinox Resources (ASX:EQN) said assays from 44 additional drill holes at the Pindaibas South and Olegario East targets, part of the Mata da Corda rare earths project in Brazil, delivered high-grade intercepts from surface, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Significant intercepts it encountered included 13 meters at 14.8% grade of titanium oxide, 3,001 parts per million of total rare earth oxides and 870 ppm of niobium pentoxide from surface, as well as 15 meters at 13.3% grade of titanium oxide, 3461 ppm of total rare earth oxides and 856 of niobium pentoxide from surface.

Out of more than 280 assay intervals, over 70 intercepts grade above 14% grade of titanium oxide, and more than 90% were over 10% grade of titanium oxide, per the filing.

The data from the drilling will be incorporated into a maiden exploration target and expanded metallurgical program.

The firm's shares fell over 5% on market close on Monday, reaching an all-time low.
