据美联社，网络安全媒体Cyber news研究人员表示，160亿个登录资料已被泄露并编译成在线数据集，为犯罪分子提供对消费者日常使用帐户前所未有的访问权限。Cyber news报告指，研究人员最近发现30个曝露的数据集，每个数据集包含大量登录信息，涉及谷歌、Facebook及苹果等热门平台用户密码。泄露登录信息并非来自单一来源，而是随时间通过多次事件被窃取，然后被编译并短暂公开。据悉，各种信息窃取软件很可能是罪魁祸首，这种恶意软件会入侵受害者设备或系统以窃取敏感信息。
