Rapidus宣布与西门子达成战略合作，共同开发2nm半导体设计和制造流程。双方将共同开发基于Calibre平台的工艺设计套件，这是行业标准的验证解决方案，可实现从半导体设计到制造的高精度及高效的物理验证、制造优化和可靠性评估，同时继续发展其设计和验证生态系统。

这次合作支持Rapidus倡导的制造设计（MFD）概念，即从制造的早期阶段就实现高产量和短周转时间。Rapidus还会与西门子的EDA构建一个参考流程，从前端到后端全面支持设计、验证和制造，为Rapidus的快速统一制造服务（RUMS）提供了一个顺畅的开发环境。

Rapidus正在创造一种新的方法，将从设计到制造的整个制造过程集成在一起。通过对设计数据的安全管理，确保制造可追溯性，并通过与EDA供应商的合作减少信息泄漏风险，加强其供应链的可靠性。Rapidus致力于推进制造和设计的协同优化，并致力于提供一个设计环境，大大加快实现客户对下一代半导体的需求，与西门子的合作将体现这种相互优化，实现设计制造协同优化（DMCO）概念。

Rapidus首席执行官小池淳义表示：“Rapidus作为最先进的半导体代工厂，通过实现2nm工艺的MFD，将大大缩短贴片时间。”
