【环球网科技综合报道】6月24日消息，据electrek援引《汽车周刊》报道称，豪华汽车品牌路虎卫士即将推出其首款电动汽车，这款全新车型很可能被命名为Defender Sport，预计车身长度约为4.5米，与宝马X1相当，将定位于捷豹路虎产品线中的运动版（Discovery Sport）和揽胜极光（Range Rover Evoque）之间。

据介绍，这款Defender Sport将提供纯电动车型，同时也有推出插电式混合动力版本的可能性。它将是首批搭载捷豹路虎EMA平台的车型之一，该平台专为纯电动车设计，未来还将支持其他电动汽车，包括揽胜极光的继任者。

外媒称，路虎揽胜电动版已积累超过6.1万名用户在等候名单上登记，显示了市场对豪华品牌电动汽车的强烈兴趣。

捷豹路虎首席商务官Lennard Hoornik表示，电动Defender SUV的开发挑战超出预期，尤其是在D7x平台上为电池寻找额外空间方面。但公司仍致力于推出包括路虎揽胜、卫士、发现和捷豹在内的各品牌下的电动汽车。

这款Defender Sport预计将保留卫士车型标志性的硬核越野风格，同时融入激进的轮拱和更高的车身姿态等设计元素，以满足现代消费者对豪华与实用性的双重需求。（青云）
