当地时间周一，美国加州民主党参议员Adam Schiff提出一项名为“遏制官员收入和不披露法案（COIN Act）”，旨在禁止美国总统、副总统以及直系亲属在任期内从事各类加密货币商业活动。
该法案虽然面向美国的未来，但可能更多是为了当下，因为特朗普及其家族已经从加密货币市场获取大量受益。据美国政府伦理局（OGE）6月13日公布特朗普的财务申报文件显示，特朗普持有157.5亿美元的治理代币WLFI。此外，特朗普持有大量TRUMP币，多次销售NFT获得大量收入，而且通过Fight Fight Fight LLC CIC、Digital LLC等公司参与加密货币活动间接获取其他收益。
此外，BusinessFocus揭露，特朗普幼子Barron Trump已透过其家族加密项目WLFI获得近4,000万美元收益，税后净收入约2,500万美元。特朗普的妻子梅兰妮亚（Melania Trump）发行迷因币“$MELANIA”，该代币巅峰时期市值超160亿美元。
