大新金融集团首席经济师温嘉炜指出，香港5月整体消费物价指数按年升幅放缓至1.9%，低于市场预期，剔除政府一次性纾困措施的影响后，基本通胀升1%，较4月回落0.3个百分点，本月通胀放缓主要反映了食品、耐用品及衣履等价格跌幅扩大，抵销了私人住宅租金及能源相关价格升幅加快的影响。
他指出，衣履及耐用品价格跌幅持续扩大或反映消费市道仍然低迷，中美贸易战阴霾下部分内地出口商品转为内销，抑压消费品价格，但随租金稳步上升及纾困措施结束，预期今年全年本港通胀将升约2%。(gc/)
