消息面上，据青眼情报数据显示，今年“618”全周期天猫美妆成交额同比增长11.1%，占大盘的41.3%。与此同时，天猫首发新品成交增长153%，其中美妆个护成交破千万新品数近百个。截至6月18日，各大国货品牌在天猫跑出“加速度”，其中毛戈平同比增长超70%。另据华西证券，抖音彩妆类目品牌榜TOP10中，共有8个国货品牌，毛戈平排名提升了9名升至第二，外资品牌中仅有圣罗兰和MAC上榜。
花旗此前表示，毛戈平二十多年来在中国高端化妆品市场建立了强固地位，并持续从国际品牌手中夺取市场份额。本土同行难以轻易复制其竞争优势。该行预计毛戈平将在京东“618”购物节期间延续强劲的线上增长势头，并在2024-2027年间实现31%的净利润复合年增长率(CAGR)。基于其更强的品牌资产、盈利能力及增长前景，该行认为该公司应享有高于同行的估值溢价。
