VIAVI Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: VIAV) has announced that Netomnia, the UK's second-largest alternative network operator, has selected VIAVI's ONMSi Remote Fiber Test System to enhance and accelerate its network expansion efforts across the UK. The system will aid Netomnia in simplifying network installation and ongoing maintenance as it rapidly grows its business. Currently, Netomnia, along with YouFibre and brsk, services 2.5 million premises, with 325,000 connected. With plans to increase its annual build rate to one million premises, the group aims to service three million premises by the end of 2025 and five million by the end of 2027. VIAVI's ONMSi system will support these ambitions by optimizing network rollout and maintenance efficiency, with a mobile app facilitating remote test-on-demand capabilities.
