Tsui Wah (HKG:1314) expects to report a decline in its profit for the year ended March 31, according to a Friday bourse filing.
Shares declined 8.3% in Monday's afternoon trade.
The restaurant chain expects profit attributable to owners to decline anywhere between 50% and 70% from the HK$39 million reported in fiscal 2024.
The company attributed the decline to a host of factors, including competition and "unsatisfactory economic environment" in Hong Kong and mainland China.
Tsui Wah expects to post its financial results on Friday.
