Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) repurchased 798,002 shares on the London bourse on Wednesday at an average price of 9.1708 pounds sterling apiece, a Thursday Singapore bourse filing said.
The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the buyback, Prudential will have 2,585,842,353 shares in issue.
