北约盟国周三同意，到2035年将国防开支目标从占国内生产总值（GDP）的2%提高至5%，这是该联盟十多年来最具决定性的一次行动。

　　在一份联合声明中，北约表示“面对深刻的安全威胁和挑战，我们团结一致”，尤其是欧洲-大西洋安全面临长期威胁以及恐怖主义的“持续威胁”。

　　声明称：“盟国承诺到2035年每年将GDP的5%用于核心国防需求以及与国防和安全相关的支出，以确保我们履行各自和集体的义务。”

　　这一历史性举措出台的背景是中东局势紧张，以及俄乌冲突的持续。
