路透6月25日 - 桑坦德银行SAN.MC周三表示，已同意将宾夕法尼亚州阿伦敦地区的七家分行出售给美国社区银行CBU.N，这家西班牙银行正努力成为美国数字优先银行。
桑坦德银行去年年底在美国市场推出了Openbank，提供高收益储蓄账户，并计划到2025年底在美国建立一个提供全方位服务的数字银行 (link)。
社区银行在另一份声明中说，它将为分行的资产和负债向桑坦德银行支付 4800 万美元的存款溢价。
这家总部位于纽约的贷款公司表示，预计将承担约 6 亿美元的存款，并购买近 3300 万美元的分行相关贷款。
