0736 ET - Tariff uncertainty may delay some growth at Canadian toy maker Spin Master, according to Adam Shine of National Bank of Canada. The analyst says in a report that estimates for its peers, Mattel and Hasbro, show a contraction in revenue, largely due to trade tensions especially with China. For Spin Master, Shine says "some adjusting is necessary given we had a high 2Q estimate despite a lower than consensus annual Adj. Ebitda forecast (NBF $407 million, consensus $434 million), a change in CFO, tariff chaos of April which reduced the number of containerships from Asia (especially China), and strategic planning that took place in May to try to cope with the changing dynamic in 2025."
