Angkor Resources Corp. has announced the commencement of drilling on the Andong Bor license in Cambodia, specifically targeting the Thmei North prospect. This follows earlier geophysical work reported in April 2025. The drilling aims to explore a copper soil anomaly, with 13 drill collar holes identified in the target area. Initial drilling efforts will include six holes to a depth of 150 meters, located north of historic holes known for significant copper intercepts. The focus will be on Zone C, which features notable magnetic anomalies, with drilling operations scheduled to run 24 hours a day for several weeks. The project is led by Dennis Ouellette, VP Exploration, who is overseeing the efforts to better understand the continuity of mineralization in the area.
