China Aluminum International Engineering (HKG:2068, SHA:601068) or Chalieco signed a $267 million deal for the mining operations and maintenance of the Simandou project in Guinea, according to a Wednesday filing on the Shanghai bourse.
The Chinese construction engineering company will construct the project for mine developer SimFer within 60 months.
Chalieco's Hong Kong shares jumped 4% and Shanghai shares rose 2% in recent trade.
