不过，一些法律专家和加密监管观察人士指出，尽管这些国家国内禁止加密支付，但使用加密货币为境外服务付款在法律上可能是允许的。
土耳其律师兼 Paldimoglu 律师事务所管理合伙人 Meric Paldimoglu 表示：“一般来说，一国法律仅适用于该国境内发生的事件或其本国公民。”
