Landrich's Full-Year Profit Plunges 49%; Shares Slip 1%

Landrich (HKG:2132) recorded a 49% decline in attributable profit for the year ended March 31 to HK$13.3 million from HK$26.1 million in the year-ago period, a late Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shares of the company were down nearly 1% in Wednesday afternoon trading.

Earnings per share were HK$0.0084 in the year, down from HK$0.0167 in the previous corresponding period.

The construction engineering company's revenue fell 6.3% to HK$1.28 billion in the fiscal year from HK$1.37 billion a year prior.

The lower revenue was mainly driven by the reduction of engineering works towards the end of several scalable projects in the period.
